SUNKISS THERMOREACTOR®
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY WITH WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

Polymerization of Paints on a Variety of Parts
with Complex Geometry

THE MIXED TUNNEL SUNKISS THERMOREACTOR® + HOT AIR

Liquid and powder paint polymerization solution for parts with complex geometry or for films with a wide variety of parts to be treated.

Two techniques are used side by side in this tunnel:
SUNKISS THERMOREACTOR® and hot air convection.

The dimensions of these tunnels are in proportion to the parameters involved.

The control cabinet heart is a programmable logic controller (PLC). A display unit shows the function mode to the operator in a clear language. Possibility of temperature programs pre-selection by family of parts.

1st Zone
Equipped with a group of THERMOREACTORS which ensure an excellent power transfer in order to reach the required temperature level very quickly. Provides very rapid gelation for powder paint.
Accelerates the evaporation of solvents for liquid paint.

2nd Zone
Its function is to maintain the substrate to the polymerization temperature level. The hot air circulates at high speed from bottom to top in order to provide a uniform thermal exchange and to recycle air through a direct flame burner installed in the circuit.

ADVANTAGES OF THE MIXED SUNKISS THERMOREACTOR® + HOT AIR

  • The very low ventilation of the 1st zone avoids flaking of the powder or the superficial skinning of liquid paint.

  • The rapid gelation and fusion of the powder paint enhances the coating film uniformity and gloss.

  • Catalytic infrared radiation accelerate the polymerization thus reducing the length of the 2nd zone.

  • Time saving.

  • Space saving.

  • Energy saving.
